This smoothie is incredibly filling and satisfying. A quick breakfast for on the go or a wonderful addition to a hearty Sunday morning brunch! You can use blueberries and or raspberries. This smoothie is also excellent to make and place into a thermos for lunch or an afternoon snack!
- 1 c coconut water
- 1 c almond, coconut or dairy milk
- 1 frozen banana, chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 2Tbsp coconut oil
- 1Tbsp honey (optional)
- 2Tbsp Super Seed LSA
- 1Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 drops of orange, lemon, spearmint or peppermint oil for extra zing and flavour (optional)
Blend all ingredients together in a processor or Thermomix until smooth. You may need to add a little extra coconut water or milk if too thick. Serve with extra berries and enjoy every delicious mouthful!
